During my final year at university I decided to further my knowledge on level design by basing my dissertation on trying to create a balanced level which predominately used height. This included research into warfare tactics from the past 2500 years, along with building designs from these periods being broken down.

Using this research a level was designed using Team Fortress 2 and Valves Hammer Editor. A greybox version of this level was then created and then tested in a multiplayer environment. This testing lead to changes being made and second version of the level being created, creating a more balanced game play experience.

Note: This map is currently only a greybox version.
